Analysis of the opportunity of each presidential candidate below, is using the method of Four Pillars Eight Elements ( in Chinese language = ba zi ), which examined the energy condition of each candidate, then the influence of energy at current age and the the influence of energy in 2014. The analysis is certainly not absolute because there are other influences such as ( vision, mission, performance, intelligence, supporter etc ) of each candidate. So, please be wise and think postively in reading this article
I. ANALYSIS of JOKO WIDODO
I.1. ANALYSIS of ENERGY CONDITION
The condition of Jokowi’s energy was in hot condition because he was borned in July which is in the middle of summer. His energy body is dry and tends to be weak (he tends to slim). To achieve balance, he needs element which could reinforce and cool down hot condition. In this case Jokowi need WATER ( cool ) and WOOD ( strengthen ).
I.2.CHARACTER and ABILITY.
Based on his energy analysis, Jokowi’s character is agile, fast, friendly, calm then he is able to lead with a firm but wise, and be able to have lots of ideas and make decisions/solutions as quickly as possible.
I.3. ANALYSIS the INFLUENCE of ENERGY
Now Jokowi is 53 years old and according to the data, under the influence of cold energy which gives him positif influence, but the elements inside his age 53 years old brings only 25% of positive energy ( score = 25% ). Besides the energy conditions in 2014 are referred to as the year of Wood Horse, then WOOD energy of this year also bring positive influence ( score = 25% ) so he obviously gets significant support from a lot of people. However HORSE is a symbol of FIRE energy that will bring hot condition so his energy will become increasingly hot. So HORSE brings negative influence ( score = 0% ). Overall he gets 50% of positive influence ( 25% + 25% ).
I.4. CONCLUSION and SUGGESTION
The chance of Jokowi to be elected as president is 50%. It is suggested in the campaign or debate should not provoked by emotion, and also not too much expressing ideas and spreading the grandiose promises.
II. ANALYSIS of PRABOWO SUBIANTO
II.1 ANALYSIS of ENERGY CONDITION
Prabowo energy conditions is slightly cool ( not too cold ) because he was borned in the mid of October. The energy of his body is strong and slightly cool ( so he is rather fat ), then to achieve balance, his strong energy must be attenuated by using the element of WATER and WOOD.
II.2. CHARACTER and ABILITY
His character is friendly, not long-winded, stubborn / implacable, straight, less smart but actually has tenderness, deep in his heart. Having the ability to do business and lead wisely and also cruelly, but he does not have strong enough management ability
II.3. ANALYSIS the INFLUENCE of ENERGY
Prabowo is now entering the age of 63 years old and according to the data, is under the influence of energy which gives more strength to his body. Thus it will bring negative influence. ( score = 0% ). Then the energy in 2014, has the combination of 2 elements, those are WOOD element and strong FIRE element, meanwhile wood gives positive influence ( score = 25% ) however the fire element is too hot so as it gives a half negative influence ( score = 12,5% ). So the overall percentage of the influence of positive energy is equal to 37.5% ( 25% + 12,5% ).
II.4. CONCUSION and SUGGESTION
The chance of Prabowo to be elected as president was 37.5%. It is advisable not to trust too much to those people who seems to support however they just intend to take the advantage from him.
III. FINAL CONCLUSION
Based on the analysis above, the chance of Jokowi for being elected to be president ( score = 50% ) is bigger than Prabowo’s ( score = 37,5% ). It’s only a calculation based on one factor which is invisible (non-physical factor) that is ENERGY, of course is not absolute, because there are other factors that is visible ( physical factor ) such as vision, mission, performance, support, political maneuvers, appearance etc. So the chance of being elected to become president still depends on those factors.
Jakarta Globe : Jakarta Governor Joko Widodo has won the presidential election with just over 53 percent of the vote against Prabowo Subianto, who garnered just less than 47 percent – according to the official results from 34 provinces compiled on Sunday.
A total of 33 provincial offices of the General Elections Commission (KPU) have completed their individual tallies by early Sunday morning, with Jakarta finishing last – declaring Joko the winner with 53.08 percent of the vote over Prabowo’s 46.92 percent. Indonesia’s newest and 34th province, North Kalimantan, had its votes counted by the KPU’s East Kalimantan branch.
The final individual tallies of the provinces have been made public in various media reports, and the Jakarta Globe has compiled the data to produce its own recap of the national tally – with the KPU only scheduled to finish and announce its final national tally by Tuesday night. On Sunday, the KPU headquarters in Jakarta only began recapitulating data from 12 provinces.
The Jakarta Globe’s national recap of the 33 provincial tallies lands Joko – who is also known as Jokowi – and his running mate Jusuf Kalla the winners of the July 9 presidential election, collecting a total of 70.67 million votes (53.17 percent) compared with Prabowo’s 62.25 million votes (46.83 percent). There are a total of 132.92 million valid votes – representing 70.6 percent of Indonesia’s total eligible voters.
Consistent with Quick Counts
The result recap is consistent with the quick counts by eight pollsters announced immediately after Indonesians cast their votes on July 9 – which had put Joko in the lead with between 51 percent and 53 percent vote over the 47 percent to 49 percent in favor of Prabowo. Four other pollsters, citing their own quick counts, had declared Prabowo the winner with lower margins. The recap also showed that Joko and his running mate Jusuf Kalla won in 23 provinces, while Prabowo and Hatta Rajasa led in 10 provinces. Joko-Kalla thus led by 8.4 million votes, or around 6.3 percentage points.
‘The three biggest contributors to Jokowi – JK’s votes were Central Java, East Java and West Java,’ Tjahjo Kumolo, the secretary general of Joko’s Indonesian Democratic Party of Struggle (PDI-P) and the head of his campaign team, said in Jakarta on Sunday, citing the party’s own recap of the KPU provincial data – similar to that of the Jakarta Globe. Joko – Kalla won 66.65 percent of the vote in Central Java, which is a traditional PDI-P stronghold, securing nearly 13 million votes.
Although West Java was the third-largest contributor to Joko’s votes, he actually suffered a big loss in Indonesia’s most populous province, securing 9.5 million votes (40.22 percent) over Prabowo'[s 14 million (59.78 percent). Bali (another PDI-P stronghold), Bangka-Belitung, South Sulawesi, West Sulawesi, Papua and West Papua were among other provinces where Joko – Kalla won by a large majority.
Prabowo-Hatta, meanwhile, won in the provinces of West Sumatra, West Nusa Tenggara and Gorontalo. Joko – Kalla dominated the votes in central and eastern Indonesia, while the spoils were shared on around Sumatra. Overseas, Joko – Kalla also lead with a total of 364,283 votes (53.74 percent) over Prabowo – Hatta with 313,600 votes, or 46.26 percent.
The Straits Times : INDONESIA’S Constitutional Court has upheld the results of last month’s presidential election that saw Jakarta governor Joko Widodo and his running mate Jusuf Kalla elected as the country’s next president and vice – president, bringing legal closure to what many Indonesians felt was a protracted process. The nine – judge court dismissed a challenge to the results of the July 9 election filed by defeated candidate Prabowo Subianto and his running mate Hatta Rajasa, an outcome many saw coming given the weak evidence they had surfaced over the two-week hearing.
The court’s decision is final and binding, and paves the way for the government of outgoing President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono to formally begin working with Mr Joko and his team on the transition of power in the days ahead of the formal handover of power on Oct 20. But Thursday afternoon saw some tension outside the court, as police fired tear gas and water cannon to disperse several of Mr Prabowo’s supporters who tried to break through security barriers.
Last month, Indonesia’s election commission declared that Mr Jokowi, 53, and Mr Kalla, 72, won 53.15 per cent of the vote on July 9, securing a margin of 8.4 million votes over Mr Prabowo, 63, and Mr Hatta, 60. But Mr Prabowo and his lawyers took the case to court, alleging that massive, systematic and structured electoral fraud on the part of the election organisers cost them victory.
On Thursday, the judges said the petitioners failed to prove there was significant electoral fraud, let alone on a scale sufficient to overturn the poll result. They took turns to read some 300 pages of the 4,390 page decision on the hearing. Said Judge Muhammad Alim: “There is no evidence that has convinced the court the votes the complainant got were reduced and the votes of the other party were boosted.”
